Karen Rumrill

Karen – or KK, as she prefers to be called – heads client operations at BBK Worldwide. In this key role, she orchestrates the implementation of client campaigns, ensuring a seamless transition from planning to execution.

She works closely with BBK's business development group to create tactical program recommendations to achieve each client's objectives, establishes timeframes and budgets, and deploys the team best suited to make it all happen. As a result, client campaigns roll out with all the necessary resources in place, a fundamental success factor for timely patient enrollment.

KK's operational and management leadership has been honed by 16 years of experience in patient recruitment. During her tenure at BBK, she has held various positions and has worked on accounts in every therapeutic area supported by BBK – giving her first-hand insight into all the elements of an integrated, effective, and cost-effective client campaign.

Most recently, KK managed BBK's specialized creative and design group, EP Studio, providing solutions to healthcare branding challenges. She worked with BBK's partner communications agencies throughout the world to optimize the cultural adaptation process for patient and physician outreach materials used in multinational campaigns.

KK has also managed individual client patient recruitment campaigns, ensuring that projects were completed on time, on budget, and with the highest quality. She has helped establish the company's ability to respond to marketplace demands for fluid and dynamic financial structures. Through continuous evaluation of systems, KK has instituted improvements in areas from initial contractual agreements through project trafficking and staffing decisions. As a result of her efforts, business objectives are consistently met within project parameters and with complete client satisfaction.

KK is a graduate of Bridgewater State College with a Bachelor's Degree in political science. She has authored several articles in industry publications, most recently one on multinational patient recruitment published in BioExecutive International.
