Matt Kibby

Matt leads BBK Worldwide's research and planning services, abiding by the maxim that successful patient recruitment involves 70 percent planning and 30 percent execution.

Drawing on 11 years of patient recruitment experience in virtually every therapeutic area, Matt guides clients through country and site selection, enrollment feasibility analysis, site assessment, and patient and physician research – all based on time-tested research methods and objective enrollment data. As a result, clients are better able to make informed choices based on accurate forecasts, possess realistic enrollment expectations, understand the best countries in which to position their studies, cultivate buy-in from investigative sites, and develop effective patient recruitment materials that resonate with prospective audiences – all of which translates into timely, successful patient enrollment.

A key player in BBK's business development efforts, Matt is frequently published in key international industry publications, including European Pharmaceutical Executive, Good Clinical Practice Journal, and PharmaVOICE. Matt also is a regular guest speaker at global healthcare conferences on patient recruitment sponsored by such groups as Marcus Evans, the Drug Information Association, and the SMi Group. In 2006, Matt was recognized by PharmaVOICE as one of the 100 most inspiring people in the life sciences industry.

His in-depth patient recruitment expertise was honed in prior positions at BBK, in which Matt contributed to the evolution of BBK's sophisticated metrics and evaluation services for monitoring and evaluating real-time enrollment data that supports client campaign resource allocation decisions. He also played a major role in the development of the TCN e-SystemsSM platform, the e-recruitment company established by BBK to streamline patient recruitment through Web-based product suites.

Matt received his undergraduate degree from the University of Swansea in the United Kingdom, with a double major in American studies and sociology. A citizen of the United Kingdom, he relocated to the United States and received his master's degree in business administration from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is a member of the Drug Information Association.
